Sponsors
Here is a section about the folks that make us possible. Even a newly sprouted team needs sponsors. Whether it’s a donation for a prime in a crit, or a few bucks to help with race entries, sponsorship is appreciated from every person in the team. Next time you see someone in a Rogues jersey go by, check out their jersey. Every one of these sponsors in on there. The Rogues try to make sure everyone knows how generous each and every one of the folks has been. By contributing, these sponsors are promoting everything the Rogues stand for. We couldn’t do it without them.
Just the Right Gear: Just be Nice is the motto of this shop (It’s on their socks!) and you certainly get the sense that they practice what they preach when you’re in their shop. Stop in and see them in Salem, VA or online at http://www.justtherightgear.com/
New River Valley Bicycle Association: The local bike club. These folks put on a lot of events around the area, and have some of the nicest riders we know of. Ever heard of Mountains of Misery? You can thank (or curse) this group for that one. They have lots of very casual-style rides, lots of epic distance rides, and lots of good cheer for pretty much anyone they come across. Give ‘em a hit on their website at http://www.nrvbike.org/
Cannondale: Cannondale produces world class bikes, but does that keep them from supporting small racing teams in their backyard? Of course not! Support Cannondale because they support local cycling. http://www.cannondale.com/
Runabout Sports: Another local business here in our lovely little Blacksburg. This is the running shop. They also carry Rudy Project sunglasses, GU energy gels, and the ever-popular Crocs sandle-things. If you’re looking for a pair of shoes for cross-training, for triathlon, or just for proper foot support during your typical day, they’re the folks to talk to. http://www.runaboutsports.com/
The Weight Club: Almost next door to Runabout Sports, this is way more than just a gym. With an indoor running facility, several spin classes every day, and a management that feels more like a family than a military dictatorship, the Weight Club outclasses any other gym within driving distance. Stop by and ask for a tour. http://www.theweightclub.com/
Mill Mountain Coffee and Tea: A staple in the local coffee scene for many years. Mill Mountain roasts and brews fresh coffee regularly and keeps the area’s cyclists going. http://www.millmountaincoffee.com/
Maupin’s Trailer Sales: Maupin’s helps the Rogues out with Yakima and Thule bike transportation systems. Have a look at their site at http://www.maupinstrailers.com/
